Yoga and Meditation Teacher

Steph Chee

Steph Chee is a sacred sound teacher and mantra practitioner with 24 years of experience transmitting from one of the oldest oral lineages on earth — the Sri Vidya Tantric tradition of the Himalayan sages. Her work draws on two ancient forms: Sanskrit mantra you chant yourself, and sacred sound you receive. Both arise from the same understanding — that sound is not something we hear so much as something we are. That beneath the noise of a demanding life, there is a frequency that is already whole, already harmonic, already home.

Steph is also a scientist. She holds a B.A. in Biology from Columbia University, and her teaching integrates the precision of contemplative neuroscience with the living intelligence of lineage practice. She speaks both languages — the ancient and the empirical — with equal authority. What draws her to Mallorca is what has always drawn seekers to this island: the knowledge that something old lives here. In the stone, the sea, the centuries of cultures that arrived, layered, and found — however imperfectly — a way to sound together. That history is not backdrop. It is the teaching.

Steph creates containers that are rigorous, devotional, and genuinely held. Students consistently describe leaving with practices that stay with them long after the retreat ends.

Amie Heeter

Amie Heeter is a nature enthusiast, adventurer, and life long learner particularly motivated by the intersection of mind/body traditions of the East and modern research sourced in mindfulness and neuroplasticity in the West. A yoga and meditation teacher since 2004 and currently holding 500hr certification, Amie regards yoga, meditation, and mindfulness as some of the best systems available to sustain health in our body, cultivate stability and resilience in our mind, and open pathways to the luminous heart.

Amie received her first teaching certifications in 2003 and 2004 through the Integral Yoga Institute. In 2007 she began studying with Rod Stryker and received Parayoga certification in 2014. Mentorship with Parayoga offered significant training with the subtle practices and profound impacts of pranayama (breath practice), meditation, mantra, and yoga nidra. These studies led her into the wisdom of Tantra, Ayurveda, and the Sri Vidya lineage of the Himalayan Masters. Amie continues to study with teachers, including Pandit Rajmani Tigunait and senior teachers of the Himalayan Institute, Tracee Stanley, and Indu Arora among the dozens she’s received from over her 20 years of study. Nature is her first teacher, and continues to be an intimate part of her practice and inspiration. Amie hosts group classes, trainings, wellness courses, works privately with individuals and also leads regional and international retreats, and works privately with individuals.
